The Alberta School Trustees' Association is the voice of Catholic Trustees in Alberta and the Northwest Territories, and is commited to preserving and enhancing the rights of Catholics to education based on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

- By empowering member board delegates to represent the views of their district, while collectively promoting the rights of Alberta's Catholic school supporters to provide Catholic education;
- By facilitating and promoting faith development opportunities throughout the Catholic community.
