Join us for our 2010 AGM and Convention featuring well-known keynote speaker Father Mike Dechant. Focusing on the theme of Mentoring the Faith, Father Dechant will explore the role of spirituality and mentorship in our everyday practices at work and at home. Through three dynamic presentations, he will discuss the building of "church" within our communities, living the spirituality of Jesus, and becoming a "Gospel Entrepreneur." Father Dechant's presentations will ignite a passion for living and sharing our faith within our role as mentors and leaders of school communities.
Fr. Mike Dechant, OMI, was ordained to the priesthood in 1975. Currently he is the Director of Mission to Youth through Oblate Youth Ministries. The goal of Oblate Youth Ministries is the training of 'youth leadership', and the "evangelization of the family", to encourage and facilitate 'youth ministering to youth' -- 'adults ministering to adults'.
