The Alberta School Trustees' Association is the voice of Catholic Trustees in Alberta and the Northwest Territories, and is commited to preserving and enhancing the rights of Catholics to education based on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Newman Theological College, St. Joseph’s College and St. Mary’s University College offer credit for Blueprints 2012 participants in conjunction with reading courses in Christian Religious Education.
Course Requirements:
• pre-Conference reading (reading and detailed course outline will be sent after registration);
• attendance at Blueprints 2012 Conference;
• complete pre-Conference reading(s) and submit a short 5-6 page paper on the first day of the Conference;
• during the Conference meet with the instructor to determine the topic and focus of a longer 16-20 page paper to be completed by early June; and
• a synthesis of the student's command of the course (to be arranged with the instructor).
• course registration and fees are additional costs paid to the respective college. Blueprints registrations must be completed with ACSTA by March 23 and course registrations must be completed with the respective college by March 23.
Registration by these deadlines is important, as the course will be cancelled if enrollment is insufficient.
