ROOTS Program - Steve Angrisano

Keynote Session

Go Make A Difference! We are all called to Be Saints...Yes you! (Friday 7:30 - 8:30pm)

To be a saint is not to have a church named after you, it is simply answering the call to become "less" and let God be "more" in our lives. Come laugh and cry, sing and pray, and discover that to be holy is a lot less difficult than you think.

ROOTS Program

The ROOTS program runs concurrently with the Catholic Conference and is a specific program designed to explore issues surrounding the Catholic faith and parenting.
The goals of the program are to: affirm the role of parents as the primary educators of their children; explore opportunities for Catholic school councils to enhance the Catholic identity of their schools; encourage each other to live out and celebrate our faith; work together in service to the Catholic school community; and share in the mission and vision of Catholic education.

2012 ROOTS Program

Saturday Session 1: Open the eyes of your heart!
We often miss the presence of God even when it's right in front of us, but make no mistake, Christ is among us!

Saturday Session 2: God of Wonders!
It's one thing to know "about" God, but another to genuinely know God. This session challenges us to allow God to be more than simply an interested observer of our everyday life.

Saturday Session 3: Be my Disciples!
Jesus calls us to have courage to walk into this world and be a reflection of his love to all we meet! This often means having the courage to step "outside the box" and let God lead us!

Steve Angrisano

Steve Angrisano is undoubtedly one of the most effective and versatile ministry leaders in the Church today. As a master storyteller and award winning composer and musician, Steve captivates young and old alike with an inspiring message of faith, hope and love. This weekend, in humor story and song, we will be called to truly trust in God's presence in our lives, and in doing so, become a reflection of Gods presence in the worlds around us... And when that happens, we discover a passion for living every day, a safety net in tough times, and the call to be a witness of God's love to a world in need of hope!
